There are templates for various documents, with one row dedicated to CVs and named as such. Click on this to expand the top row and reveal all available templates. To the top-right of the top row is a small icon with the name 'Template gallery'. One is a row near the top that starts with 'Blank' and then contains some other options, below which is a collection of your recently-opened documents. If you're starting from Google Docs, you're going to see an interface with two sections. This is going to take you to the template gallery. Click on the arrow parallel to Google Docs and select 'From a template'. To the right of these is a small arrow pointing to the right. When you click on this, it's going to display some options in a drop-down menu that includes 'Google Docs'. Go to the template gallery If you're starting from Drive, go to the icon that says 'New' near the top-left of the interface and which has a plus sign next to it.

If you've already opened another Google application like Gmail, check for the square consisting of three-by-three dots in the top-right corner of the interface, next to your account icon.
